DLSU improves standing in QS sustainability rankings

De La Salle University has improved its standing in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025. This year, the university is placed in the 911-920 bracket, up from 981-1,000.

DLSU is also ranked 716th in overall performance in environmental impact, 1,001+ in governance, and 1,001+ in social impact.

Now in its third year, the rankings evaluate the social and environmental impacts of HEIs as centers of education and research. Indicators measure a university’s ability to tackle environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges.

1,743 HEIs were included in this year’s Sustainability Rankings.

DLSU Sustainability Hub Executive Director Antonio Maralit said, “The rankings are reflective of the collective efforts of the different university sectors in localizing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as enfleshing the call of Laudato Si, i.e. caring for our Common Home.”

“With DLSU’s Golden Jubilee goals, it is our hope that the transformation of our partner communities will also be reflective of our own formational journey, towards the realization of our Lasallian ministry of reaching out to the least, the lost and  the last,” he added.
