Active Directory (AD) and My.LaSalle (MLS) Login and Change Password User Guide

Note: Your login credential/temporary password is sent to your DLSU email account with the subject [ITS] Login Credentials/Temporary Password for MLS and AD.

This guide includes the following:

• Active Directory (AD) Log in and Change Password
• Enroll Multi-Factor Authenticator (MFA) in AD
  • Google Authenticator
  • Security Questions
  • Microsoft Authenticator
• Forgot Password in AD
• Log in and Change Password in MLS
• will be used to log in on Animo.Sys, DLSU IS OVG, and AnimoConnect WiFi.

Active Directory (AD) Log in, Change Password and Enroll Multi-Factor Authenticator (MFA)

1. Go to https://selfserv.dlsu.edu.ph:9251/authorization.do
2. Type your username and temporary password and click Login.
   

   

   Change Password window will be displayed.

   
   Notes: 

   • For a smooth process, please prepare passwords beforehand that comply with the Password Complexity Policy for each application/system before changing them.
   • The minimum age for a password is 1 day.
   • You will be locked out after 7 unsuccessful attempts and reset after 10 minutes.

3. Type your temporary/old password, new password, and confirm your new password. When all parameters are checked, click Change Password.
   
4. Click Close.
   

   

   MFA Enrollment window will be displayed.

    

5. In multi-factor authentication (MFA) enrollment, you may use one or more of the following:
   • • Security Questions
     • Google Authenticator
     • Microsoft Authenticator

For Security Questions

• 1. Tick Security Questions. Click Next.
     
  2. In Question 1, select a user-defined question. Type the answer. Confirm the answer.
  3. In Question 2, type your own question.  Type the answer. Confirm the answer.
  4. Click Next. (Change Password window will be displayed. No need to change your password again).Microsoft Authenticator
  5. Click Profile pic. Click Logout

For Google Authenticator

Note:  Before proceeding, install the Google Authenticator app.

• 1. Tick Google Authenticator. 
  2. Install Google Authenticator.
  3. Open the app, and tap + to add an account.
  4. Using the app, scan the QR code image given.
  5. Enter the code generated by your authenticator app
  6. Click Next.
     
     
  7. Click Profile pic. Click Logout.
     

For Microsoft Authenticator

Note:  Before proceeding, install the Microsoft Authenticator app.

• 1. Tick Microsoft Authenticator. Click Next.
  2. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app. Select Add account -> Other (Google, Facebook, etc).
  3. Scan the displayed QR code.
  4. Enter the code generated.
  5. Click Verify Code.
  6. Click Profile pic. Click Logout.
     
     
  7. Click Profile pic. Click Logout.
     

How to Reset Password in Active Directory (AD) Account
(Video Guide)

1. Go to https://selfserv.dlsu.edu.ph:9251/authorization.do
2. Click Forgot your password?
   
   
3. Type your username. Type the Captcha. Click Continue.
   
   
4. Type the answer to the 2 questions that you set in MFA. Click Continue.
   
   
5. Type your new password. Confirm your new password.
6. Type the captcha. Click Reset Password.
   
   
7. Click Back to home.
