Toyo University (Japan)
Program Call for Fall 2022 Online Exchange Program (OEP)
In 2021, Toyo University partnered with the UMAP International Secretariat and global UMAP members to launch a virtual exchange program called “SDGs Online Cross-Registration: Online Exchange Program (OEP) Focusing on SDGs”. Based on the UMAP Online Exchange Program and supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Technology in Japan, this virtual exchange program allowed students to take courses at various UMAP institutions as well as Japanese member universities without leaving their home countries.

Guidelines of the Program
Flowchart Process of OEP
Each participating institution is asked to offer one to five courses for the OEP. For the fall 2022 semester, Universities should select courses related to the SDGs or environmental issues. There is no need to create new academic courses.
Important Notes:

Faculty members/Universities can offer programs by submitting the “Outline Proposal” and can nominate their students to other participating institutions. Submit the proposal to Toyo OEP Secretariat email: ml-sgu@toyo.jp.

Program Applications, Student Nominations, selection and notification will be processed by email between universities not via UMAP IS or the USCO system.

Tuition fee is waived.
Deadlines:
Submission of the Outline Proposal – June 23, 2022
Student Applications through home institution coordinators – 11-24 July 2022
Notification of the application results to students and universities – 04 August 2022
Course procedure of each university – 05 August 2022

Before the start of the virtual exchange program: Process a Permit to Cross Enroll.
After the virtual exchange program: Process your application for Course Crediting to your DLSU records.
