As part of the efforts in promoting safety and cleanliness on campus, the University is implementing a regular Campus Clean Up Project at the end of every term. The program covers all offices, laboratories, common spaces and buildings within the Manila Campus.

Offices, Departments & Laboratories.  All offices are requested to go over all clutter and unused items (e.g. old furniture, defective or obsolete equipment, packaging materials, recyclable materials such as used paper, plastic products etc.) in their respective work spaces as well as storage areas and identify which of these they don’t need anymore. Kindly coordinate the pull out of such items with the Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Office (BGMO). For tagged assets, kindly coordinate with the Supply Chain Management Office (Assets and Inventory Management Section) for proper documentation.

Open Spaces and Common Areas. All clutter (e.g. abandoned projects, defective equipment, props, wood products, old signs & tarps, unused furniture and appliances, etc.) located in corridors, passage ways, common areas, old offices, and covered/open spaces and compounds shall be cleaned up during the term break. Individuals, units and departments who own any of the said materials and would still have need or use for these are advised to immediately remove these items on or before July 9, 2022. Unaccounted and unclaimed materials shall be disposed of accordingly starting July 18, 2022 until the beginning of the first term.  For reference, photos may be accessed here.

For hazardous waste materials, kindly coordinate with Mr. Myklim Casibang (myklim.casibang@dlsu.edu.ph), University Pollution Control Officer (PCO) of Campus Sustainability Office.
