The Explorer women’s basketball team had a historic 2025-26 season, participating in the tournament’s postseason play for the first time since the early 90s.
The 18-13 Explorers earned a first-round bye in the tournament, then defeated Binghamton in the second round, with head coach Mountain MacGillivray celebrating his 100th career win.
Their run ended with a close Super 16 matchup at Army.
