Innovation is sprinting forward once again, and De La Salle University is leading the race.
The DLSU Innovation and Technology (DITECH) Fair returns for its 13th year with an expanded, packed timeline of activities that bridges ideas, industry, and impact. Taking place across multiple dates and campuses, this year’s DITECH showcases a full innovation experience that celebrates Lasallian creativity, intellectual property (IP), and real-world collaboration.
Hosted by De La Salle University, with partners across the De La Salle Philippines network, DITECH 2026 continues its tradition as a premier platform where students, researchers, innovators, industry leaders, and policymakers come together to exchange ideas, showcase solutions, and build meaningful partnerships.
History of DITECH
Launched in 2012, the DLSU Innovation and Technology (DITECH) Fair is an annual flagship event of the DLSU Intellectual Property Office (DIPO) and the DLSU Innovation and Technology Office (DITO).
DITECH was created to showcase and recognize the best innovations developed by the De La Salle University community and beyond, while encouraging their further development and real-world application through commercialization, intellectual property protection, and collaboration with government, industry, and research institutions.
Beyond exhibitions, the Fair features themed plenary talks by distinguished speakers, selected paper and poster presentations on innovation and creativity, and a student business pitch competition, fostering a culture of research, entrepreneurship, and nation-building grounded in the values of St. John Baptist de La Salle.
This Year’s Theme: DASH – Innovation in Sports & Health
DITECH’s theme for 2026, DASH: DLSU Advancing Sports and Health Through Intellectual Property and Innovation, highlights how intellectual property fuels progress in sports, health, and wellness. This year’s DITECH explores how patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other types of IP enable creators to protect, scale, and commercialize solutions that improve performance, well-being, and quality of life.
