De La Salle University inaugurated the Enrique K. Razon Jr. Hall, a state-of-the-art facility that underscores the university’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and environmental sustainability.
The inauguration of the facility at DLSU Laguna Campus, held on December 5, was attended by Mr. Enrique K. Razon Jr., Chairman and President of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), including officers from ICTSI, DLSU administrators and stakeholders.
DLSU President Br. Bernard Oca FSC led the celebration, emphasizing the profound impact of the Enrique K. Razon Hall on the university’s vision: “This hall represents more than just a physical space; it embodies our collective dedication to creating an environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and transformative education. It is a beacon of hope and progress, serving not only the Lasallian community but also the industries and societies we aim to impact.”
In his address, Mr. Razon conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the Lasallian community, emphasizing a shared commitment to advancing education. He stated: “Today is not just about opening a new space, but the start of myriad possibilities to learn, grow, innovate, and achieve … it is about the community we are building together. Together, we will make this school a force for positive change.”
The Enrique K. Razon Jr. Hall will serve as the home of the Enrique K. Razon Logistics Institute, strengthening DLSU’s leadership in supply chain management, transportation, and warehouse operations. It features state-of-the-art spaces, including a learning commons, a collaborative lecture hall, student services, modern classrooms, research rooms, and a function hall—designed to inspire collaboration and innovation.
