As the only awardee outside Europe, Dr. Chari’s groundbreaking project under the DLSU Advanced Research Institute for Informatics, Computing, and Networking (AdRIC), focuses on developing a multilingual machine translation system of Philippine languages that helps to close the communication gap and digital preserve indigenous languages of the country. This globally recognized research will shape future language policy, education, and technology development.
